Junior Tennis Pathway
From family play and red-ball fundamentals to yellow-ball competition and performance training, the junior pathway gives players ages 3-17 an age-appropriate next step. Placement is based on age, skill, and coach assessment.

Ages 3-4 with an adult · 60 minutes. Family play introduces movement, racquet handling, sending, and receiving through themed activities. Next step: keep playing with family and friends.

Ages 10 and under · 60 minutes. A fun introduction to tennis fundamentals, athletic skills, racquet handling, and early serve/rally/score concepts. Next step: family play and Red Ball Club.

Ages 10 and under · 60 minutes. Builds serve, rally, score, stroke foundations, and athletic skills with a red ball. Next step: Red Ball Plus and family play.

Ages 10 and under · 90 minutes. Adds technique, consistency, control, match play, and coach-approved placement. Next step: family play, team challenges, and match-play opportunities.

Ages 10 and under · 90 minutes. Progresses to a larger court with rally skills, movement, ball control, net play, and early singles/doubles tactics. Next step: Junior Circuit match play and Orange Ball team challenges.

Ages 10 and under · 120 minutes. Advanced orange-ball work adds spins, recovery, net play, singles/doubles tactics, and Junior Circuit readiness. Next step: team challenges and USTA Junior Circuit events.

Ages 11-17 · 60 minutes. Beginner youth class covering mechanics, rules, and the skills needed to start playing. Next step: Youth II, family play, or cooperative match play.

Ages 11-17 · 90 minutes. For players advancing from Youth I, with rallying, scoring, rules, and game-based competitive readiness. Next step: Friday Junior Circuit match play and USTA Junior Circuit events.

Ages 11-17 · 120 minutes including athletic development. Yellow-ball play for school-team goals, Junior Circuit events, and singles/doubles strategy. Next step: Junior Circuit match play and tournaments.

Ages 14 and under · 90 minutes plus athletic development. Training emphasizes repetition, sound technique, tactical intentions, and composure under pressure. Next step: coach-guided tournament and performance opportunities.

Ages 10+ · Full-day training or a four-day weekly commitment, with athletic, skills, and character development. Individualized technical, tactical, physical, and mental work prepares players for higher-level competition. Next step: USTA Level 1-4 and ITF events as appropriate.
